In addition, regardless of the type or severity of discipline imposed, the synopsis will also include any sustained findings of discrimination or bias against any person because of a protected characteristic under N.J.S.A. 10:5-1 (race, age, sexual orientation, etc), excessive force, untruthfulness, lack of candor, filing a false report, submitting a false certification, conducted an improper search, conducted an improper seizure, conducted an improper arrest, intentionally mishandled or destroyed evidence, committed an act of domestic violence, resigned/retired/transferred while an internal affairs investigation for one of the previous situations was pending, or was charged with an indictable crime.

In order to comply with these directives, the Denville Police Department publishes a copy of its Major Discipline Annual Report for public review below.  In order to view the annual report, click on the applicable hyperlink.  The first report required covered the period of June 15, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
