Surviving Violent Encounters Presentation 04/19

The Denville Police Department will be offering a presentation on Surviving Violent Encounters on April 19th. The presentation, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Courtroom of the Denville Municipal Building from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The purpose of the class is to encourage citizens to be responsible for their own safety by creating the right mindset, increasing awareness, and providing steps to take to keep themselves and their families from becoming victims.

The presentation will also incorporate information on the ALICE protocols, which stand for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Evacuate.

There is no need to RSVP. If you should have any questions regarding this program, please contact Ptl. Sandman (ext. 369) or Ptl. Duda (ext. 373). Please take the time to stop by and learn what you can do to help keep you and your family safe!
